Time Out Multimedia has been on the Internet now almost ten years... We have never had a foe, or experienced any hacking. The hacking we did experience was interesting because whoever the 'hacker' was directly attacked each of our domains separately. These domains covered a wide variety of subjects and they were not finished. Seeing this possibility from a mile a way, when the first malicious files started a year ago or more we stopped developing any of the Time Out Multimedia affiliated sites. We received this attacking for about three months night and day on all our related domains. In the end a very small amount of work was attacked with somewhere around 4000 hours worth of work.
We figure this is personal and related to our information websites on parental alienation. In this gruesome form of child abuse the abusers hate to be called out, described or challenged on what they are doing. It would seem a certain individual who has had past ties with a member of the company has taken general information websites very personally.
Either way, someone paid their hard earned money to cripple sites that had little traffic and had been put on the back burner while other developments have taken place.
Its been interesting to see and experience hacking on the web for our first time, and it's been a treat to see such small minds be played into such ridiculousness over and over again. Trying to find positives in incidents like malicious hacking is a favorite pastime of our group lately.
Surely the content found soon by going to those domains in the days to come will be like icing on a cake of Ithe information sites of old.
